Launch 2017 United Nations World Water Development Report

The United Nations World Water Development Report (WWDR)

is the UN’s flagship report on water. It is published each year with a focus on different strategic water issues. The 2017 World Water Development Report title is 'Wastewater: The untapped resource'.

The launch of the World Water Development Report 2017 is at the core of the World Water Day celebrations. The theme of the report has been aligned with the World Water Day: both focus on wastewater this year.

During the event the main findings of the WWDR 2017 will be presented to the audience and to the media. Hard copies of the report and its related materials will be distributed.

The development of the WWDR, coordinated by the World Water Assessment Programme (WWAP), is a joint effort of the UN agencies and entities which make up UN-Water, working in partnership with governments, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders.
