International Symposium of the CRC 1109

The International Symposium of the CRC 1109 will be held at the Bildungszentrum Erkner e.V., a modern and convenient conference venue, right in the romantic forest and lake area of Brandenburg, and yet only 30 minutes from the center of Berlin. Getting to Bildungszentrum Erkner
- by train
From the main station (Berlin Hauptbahnhof) with the regional express RE 1, direction Frankfurt/Oder or Fürstenwalde. Exit station: Erkner. From the RE 1 exit train station to the hotel about 20 min. walk (route see here) or 5 minutes by taxi (Taxi office: +49 3362 28028). The RE 1 runs every half hour (duration: 30 minutes).

Eastern Berlin motorway ring (A10), exit Erkner. Free parking. If you use a navigator, please enter: Seestraße 39, 15537 Erkner.
- by plane - Schönefeld
From the airport by S-Bahn line S9 to Ostkreuz. From there take the S-Bahn S3 to Erkner. The S-Bahn trains run every 10-20 minutes, travel time: about 60 minutes. By Airport Express (train) RE 7 or RB 14 to Ostbahnhof and from there by RE 1 to Erkner, total travel time 55 minutes. By taxi from the airport, journey time 30 minutes.

From the airport by bus TXL to Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main station). From there take the Regional Express RE 1 (see above). The RE 1 runs every half hour, total travel time approximately 60 minutes.
