22.09.2016 - Virgil Andrei gives a Talk at the ECT2016
Virgil Andrei presented his talk with the title "Prospects of development in thermoelectricity: flexible composites, nanostructures and hybrid devices" at the 14th European Conference on Thermoelectrics, which took place between 20-23 September 2016 in Lisbon, Portugal.
His talk, which opened the session on "New materials", highlighted the potential advantages of the environmentally friendly thermoelectric pastes over commonly investigated compounds. As emphasized in the oral presentation, further progress can be also expected from hybrid devices, which combine several renewable energy sources for an enhanced total efficiency.
Virgil will soon move to the University of Cambridge, to study as a PhD student in the group of Dr. Reisner.
