Joachim Sauer recipient of the 2015 Francois Gault Lectureship
The François Gault Lectureship Award is given every two years to a distinguished scientist in the field of catalysis. Professor Sauer is being specifically recognized for his contributions to the atomistic understanding of catalysis by zeolites and supported transition metal oxides. His fruitful cooperations with experimentalists helped to bridge the gap between experimental studies on “real” (powder) catalysts and experimental model catalysts such as thin films and gas phase clusters.
